No rasengan is just a ball of chakra, rasenshuriken is equivelant to chidori in the fact that they include a change in shape and nature of chakra but rasengan just had change in shape

Okay guys lets put it this way ... from what weve seen of the new naruto hes been owning and saving a heck of a lot of people Yes? However all Sasukes done is take out some nooby zetsu and get his butt saved by itachi over and over again ....

Kishi has been doing that on purpose to keep us from seeing much of Sasuke with the powers he obtained with the EMS.

Anyway, I don't think the Chidori is above the Rasengan. Why then have they come out as equals whenever they clashed directly with these techniques?

No I'm saying they are equals but now that he has rasenshuriken which is wind and wind>lightning sasuke cant stay even with him

Unless you have an actual quote of kishi saying that, then all we've got to go by is how they've actually been doing in the manga

No I'm saying chidori is more advanced because it contains both the changes while rasengan only contained one, but now that naruto added a change of nature, one that is dominant to lightning as well, it is waaaaay better than chidori

Hmm... I see your point. Naruto created the Rasenshuriken and Kishi already had Sasuke develop his own technique by transmitting it through his sword and such. I've thinking his EMS will be of some help to counter/avoid any Rasenshurikens Naruto dishes out, although obviously not all of them.

What about Enton? I think he'll be using it as much as Chidori with EMS and Fire > Wind O.O they should be around equal by the time they fight. For now I'd say that Naruto is stronger

When they clash directly it knocks both users back rather than one pushing on through and past the counterattack. Happened, technically, at least twice in the Valley of the End, if I remember right.

When both techniques hit those water tanks the chidori pieced the tank and thats about it but rasengan blew a massive chunk out of the back of it ..... i think rasengan is more powerful going from this example

I definitely think Naruto would bring Sasuke back, cuz Naruto is/has overpowered Sasuke already.
Naruto = Bijuu mode > Sasuke = Susano'o

That's all about what element each was using. Air can actually move water easier than lightning.

Enton is not fire though. It is under the category if blaze release which is not in the 5 main elements and is not superior nor inferior to another element

come to think of it. i think the only reason the result of "explosion" happened is because of the rasengan. i think that in between the two the rasengan exploded causing the exploding result. thanks for that.
