i don't think they are equal either, as i don't think that both parts of the sage are really equal. saying they are equal is saying that the eye power is equal to the body power, which i don't agree with. while the eyes are powerful, yet we don't know the capabilities of this specific eye, are they really as strong as the body? up till now juubi jins have not even used the eye abilities, except the one time madara tried to use rinbo, but naruto dodged it. having the sages body makes you immune to ninjutsu, unless you have senjutsu or are a legendary taijutsu master you can't even hurt naruto. than he gets godlike reflexes and precog which means that you have to be not just at his level of speed, but beyond to even hit him. since naruto has all the tailed beast it gives him access to all their special abilities that he is able to combine with his own techs. on top of that he is immune to genjutsu as he doesn't just have one entity to break him free but nine. this power naruto gained was enough to make madara look like a joke.

even if sasuke gains a slew of new attacks that are great an what not, unless he has senjutsu they are almost useless. they can distract and set up other attacks, but they can't land the final blow. even if he could harn naruto, killing him still would prove difficult as the healing factor of naruto will be ridiculous. the point people are trying to make when they say thay are not really equal like people think is quite clear. although we truly do need to see what sasuke's eye's can do, we still can say with certainty that he doesn't have any body power-ups thus no sage mode. which automatically puts him below naruto by default.
