Kishimoto himself has stated in an interview that these two will meet on the battlefield but has given no more other information so yeah the threads that were made on Sasuke and Orochimaru having there own arc is false.

I assume he will become good and fight with Naruto.Possibly fuse together to become Second Rikudou Sennin but who knows. List your ideas below, Thanks

It was said they would meet. Never said they would team up. They also crossed paths in the five Kage Summit and they didn't team up there.

This also doesn't disprove the theory that Oro and Sasuke have their own arc after the war.

They meet and they talk but thats probably it. It was said to be a long Journey where Sasuke and Oro are going.

For those that don't know very little time has actually passed sense Kabuto's defeat. It just feels that way becuase of the chapter number.
