Sasuke and Madara's relationship

What if Sasuke had some time to bond with Madara along the War Arc? At least Madara seemed ready to "bond" with him, being hinted by Hashirama that he remembered him of Izuna. And Sasuke was at least shaken up with Madara's death. If they had real time within the War Arc what kind of relationship you think they would have? Would Madara be some kind of Senpai to Sasuke? Would Sasuke be a kind of replacement of Izuna, just like Naruto was to Tsunade (Kawaki)?
