If i'm wrong or ignorant in some ways I'll admit it, clearly you know more about fire and tranquilizer than I do. But, I think my point still stands, When dealing with something dangerous you use the maxium effort/tranquilizer or whatever to put it down at the lowest possible risk to yourself, even it that thing get's a little hurt in the process. Sasuke and Naruto getting stabbed this chapter and someone kidnapped only proves my point that Sasuke should have used more effective measure's. That's what i was trying to say sorry if my analogy was poor.

Karin has to bite herself to heal, she doesn't just instantly heal and her durability isn't that high as evidence when Sasuke stabbed her with his chidori spear, she would of died if not for Sakura. If she doesn't have a chance to bite herself Karin is just like everybody else. She can't just tank attacks. She's not like tsunade who can get cut in half and still be alive.

Also, we have no idea how hot amaterasu is we only know that it can't be extinguished, Databook says as hot as the sun, but CLEARLY that's bullshit, Amaterasu could be as hot as ordinary fire, but the catch is, it can't be put out. I don't know how much you know about the burden of proof, but it applies to the person making a positive claim, if you say amaterasu is hotter than ordinary fire you need to prove it with manga facts otherwise your claim is baseless and can be dismissed.

I THINK amaterasu is hotter than regular fire, but i have no proof and even if it is we don't know how much hotter, but with Sasuke's control this shouldn't be a problem. He can make an amaterasu cage around someone just like he did himself and trap them. Unless they wan't to risk burning themselves by jumping out, The possibilities should be endless, otherwise being able to make the fire into any shape is a pointless ability.
