Why would sasuke use a large scale attack in such a small area? He's not trying to roast everyone. Oh and he had enton, which is stronger.

With Ameterasu at his disposal with just a flick of his eyelash why bother with katon? Ameterasu is leagues stronger but katon is faster in terms of momentum anyway. And who knows, maybe Sasuke does know other fire style techniques but you know how kishi is why nostalgia

Lol, if you've seen the spoilers then you know that logic doesn't hold. Sasuke could of use amaterasu after he swapped but he used a regular katon instead and it was so weak that shin didn't even die.

That doesn't work, i don't know if you remember but when Sasuke first used chidori spear oro was surprised because he had never seen it before. Sasuke was mastering stuff on his own without oro.

Lmfaoo, Sasuke is my favorite character, I just have some consistency and characterization problems with him, and just because he's my fave doesn't mean i won't criticize him.

Sasuke has NEVER shown any mastery of fire anywhere near madara or obito's level, it's not just this instance. That fireball he used didn't even keep shin down, he got back up, it was super weak. It should have been strong enough to knock him out so they could tie him up and get answers after this skirmish is over.

well, all it means is madara is much more skilled in katon or perhaps the large katon variants require another set of signs or something that sasuke is not aware of. not sure

Against Itachi, Sasuke used multiple Grand Dragon Fire Jutsu in a row rather than one large Fire Attack - that is why Madara,and Obito's were bigger.

Also Amaterasu,and Enton, which Sasuke is the best at is Far more powerful than Fire Style Jutsu.

Stopped reading when you compared the hachibi's durability to freaking shin. Let me ask you, would you use the weapon to stun something like rhino against a puppy??? No there is a limit to what can be used, you wouldn't use what you use to kill a large animal and use that same weapon on a much smaller and less durable one. Do you really think that the eight tails would be fazed by simple fire style??? No, sasuke needed bigger fire power, literally in order to stun him. Then put him out, if he used that on shin, shin has the durability of the average human, the average human WILL NOT SURVIVE AMETERASY UNSCATHED whether put out quickly or not, in fact as soon. As sasuke ignites him he could probably be dead, do you even know how fire works???? Especially a fire of that magnitude? Ameterasu isn't put out quickly but it's shape can be changed quickly due to Enton. Literally you were good until you compared gyuki's durability to freaking shin for goodness sake wtf man?
