Itachi used all his abilities, at least those that mattered. However, I wonder how much of a difference Manda would have played in the fight?

Manda counters Amaterasu by shedding its skin. Has shown speed feats that could possibly dodge all of Itachi's long distance jutsu.

The only concern would have been genjutsu, but seeing as Sasuke used genjutsu on Manda, if Itachi were to use it on Manda too it'll just cancel each other out.

So, let's say Manda would have assisted in the fight after being broken out. Would Sauske has own mid difficultly?

There's no need. You normally only summon large summons when another person, summoned a large summoning. Summoning Manda would've been bad, since Itachi's genjutsu is stronger, ultimately resulting in Itachi + Manda VS Sasuke. He could Kai Manda out though, but eh.

No, users summon large summonings whenever they seen fit. Itachi's genjutsu being stronger means nothing as the process would've been the same. They'd cancel each other out. For this reason, I'm asking hypothetically who the fight would've played out

It would have played out with Itachi winning. Itachi would cast Amaterasu or Susanoo most likely against a summon of that size.

TSUKIYOMI only takes 1 second in the real world (of narutoverse) . Sasuke's 3 tomoe genjutsu on Manda would've been destroyed by Itachi's MS Tsukiyomi genjutsu . Then Manda would've went to sleep.

No, it would've cancelled Sasuke's genjutsu. Forcing Itachi to use Tsukiyomi for a 3rd time. He would've been exhausted

Btw that's a close range technique, Manda's length exceeds its limits.

Amaterasu wouldn't work on Manda, susnaoo possibly depending on how things played out.

The fight would have stayed the same, considering that Itachi planned it out and wanted to lose so that his little brother could have the recognition of killing an S-Rank missing-nin and avenging their clan, so that he could look like a hero.

But if it were a serious fight, Itachi would still win at low-difficulty. Nothing in Sasuke's arsenal, including Manda, would be enough to defeat Itachi at that point.

Sasuke being on top of Manda would have disrupted the genjutsu

Manda would have been a good distraction to itachi and depending on sasuke's quick thinking, he could have taken advantage of it

What in Itachi's arsenal would've ensured a victory that great?

That's what I think too

Sasuke with Manda would've definitely tipped the scales a little bit more evenly, but at the end of the day....I hate to say it....Totsuka solos.

But having to deal with Sasuke, Manda, and Orochimaru would be tiring. Itachi with the mindset he had (aka, ridding Sasuke of the snakes and the cursemark, and making sure Sasuke doesn't die in the process), wins with High difficulty. With intent to kill all three, Mid difficulty. Amaterasu Sasuke and totsuka both of the others.

I think Itachi's Susano'o could hit hard enough to knock Sasuke out back then honestly. lol
Itachi also could have sent his crows after Sasuke (idk what they would've done but make Sasuke vulnerable for a short amount of time) like in the forest when he was chasing after Edo Itachi. Itachi's Susano'o has the Yasaka Magatama which could've worked wonders in that fight.

is it listed as close range in the data book or something?

Are you sure the genjutsu was cancelled because another 1 was cast on it? Or was it cancelled because they were being cast at the exact same time? I know Izanami is a different jutsu but he used another genjutsu on Kabuto after trapping him in Izanami.

I think that while a genjutsu is already in place , you can cast another genjutsu on the eyes and overpower the previous one. Like how Itachi was KA'd , but he was still able to be genjutsu'd later in the example you are referring to with he & Sasuke vs Kabuto.
They were only able to break out of the genjutsu by casting a genjutsu simultaneously (shooting genjutsu at the same time).
