Agreed, I guess that's why he was sort of disappointed when Sasuke didn't do as well against the kages(I think, he hold up well, given he hardly unlocked the MS, apart from the Killer B fight).

this kind of says that obito was scared of itachi or maybe not sure how a fight between them would go if anything obito was definetly weary of itachi
