Kirin requires firestyle, something Bolt likely doesn't have. And I can't even begin to guess the characters in the movie. Bolt the genius, the Hokage system being stupid, Bolt & Sasuke, Sarada????, which rival is stronger Bolt or Sarada, who is Mitsuki, what is Mitsuki, who is the new villain, what is the new villain, etc, etc

Lightning nature is not enough to justify this. Boruto is gonna be nowhere near Sasuke's level. What would be the point in a duo between a demi god and a small kid?

A tag team has nothing to do with the nature of chakra they possess, because Naruto and Sasuke's tag team is extraordinarily commendable and they possess entirely different chakra natures. If you think possessing the same chakra nature could augment their jutsus then that's also not the case. Because the difference in their power level is enormous, that Bolt can't make any significant contribution or augmentation to Sasuke's powers. If that's the case, then there isn't even a need to possess the same nature. Just being a prodigy would be fine.

Neji was a prodigy and possessed the Byakugan, so do you think he'd make a great tag team with Hamura (if he existed)? One is just a prodigious Hyuga, the other is a Sage level beast who aided in sealing a creature like Kaguya. Both possess the Byakugan. Sure they could make a tag team, in fact, any prodigy could make a tag team with Hamura, but they ain't doing anything significant aside from what Hamura could already do alone.
