sasuke always was a good guy in a way

from the very very day sasuke left the village only a hand full of people have known about him and his plans, he was always able to come back it was jus him, the last thing that we heard bout the villagers in the leaf saying about sasuke is that he was a hero for killing his brother(actually known for be a enemy of leaf) and they were feeling sorry for him for what his brother did, and this was in the manga when he formed his hawk group and went back to the village idk what chap. im sorry but its there if you find it pls post. but they got to talking about how bad his brother was and he fliped and hit the dude.

long story short sasuke was made to look that way by kishi to have a good and bad in the story jus to flip it like he is doing now.

People seem to forget that. Sasuke was not born evil. He was a sweet boy who loved his brother. He was then tortured mentally, lied to more times than he could count and lord knows what he went through with Orochimaru! He was never bad, just mixed up and the curse of being an Uchiha made his emotions harder to handle. Now he finally has the truth in front of him and he can finally be the Sasuke that Itachi wanted him to be, and the Sasuke Naruto and Sakura saw him as when they were a team.

sasuke may have tried to attack a lot of people including the kages...but then again in a shinobi world, every shinobi will try to attack someone he considers as an enemy.....sasuke basically was good because he didn't want to kill anyone baselessly..he wanted to kill danzo to take his revenge and eventually had to fight the kages who obstructed his path. Come to think of it, sasuke has always followed his nindo from the beginning....whatever he did was simply because he wanted to take his revenge...and why not? Every person in his situation is expected to do that...sasuke has seen his own parents and clan killed right in front of him by his brother, and after killing his brother he came to know about the real truth. but i think many here doesn't acknowledge that and call sasuke a cry-baby, pure evil etc. Now that sasuke finally knows the entire truth and has taken the ultimate decision we also know that sasuke basically is a person who is acts with reason....

Sasuke only kills those he focused on killing for his goal. The only time he ever seemed evil was in the Kage Summit/Fourth War before the Itachi encounter and that's it.

So yes, he isn't good or evil. Just an anti-hero at best.

If you think about it, Sasuke is not an antagonist. He's a deuteragonist. He never followed Naruto and kept hindering his quests. That would be Obito.

RIGHT, floating free from the story didnt really have anything to do with the good side or the bad but had enough on both sides for the viewer to make a guess on what type of character he should be, with out kishi giving us a answer all the way until the end,now.

If you think about it, Sauske is not an antagonist. He's a deuteragonist. He never followed Naruto and kept hindering his quests. That would be Obito.

Agreed Sasuke was never evil he was just taken advantage of by people who were evil.Sasuke suffered alot and the kind of pain he went through would have driven most people to suicide but he became a avenger instead.I respect the fact he searched for the truth and as a result grew as a character.

Yep, like the description states, he only did what was best regarding his own conflict/plot. Sometimes that meant helping Naruto but when he was in Sasuke's way, he was the bad guy trying to stop Naruto. He was used by Obito and once again chose his path based on his own benefits, thus making him Konoha's enemy until the time his path would lead him in another direction, now making him a second hero if he helps fight in the war.
