Sasuke a direct descendant of Madara

In the last manga chapter we, for the first time, hear Madara say something about a child. later he repeats the same phrase while stabbing Sasuke through the chest plate, only this time with a bit of hesitation before and after the "or even my child" part.

And thinking about it now, in a way hes already sacrificed a close friend, (Hashirama) a brother, (Izuna) and now he intends to sacrifice "his own child".

Well if Madara or Izuna had kids then yes Sasuke would probably be in his direct bloodline. Leadership in clans is passed through to the son and Madara was a known leader and Fugaku (Itachi and Sasuke's dad) was the leader as well.

But if Madara and Izuna did not have any children then someone else would have had to come in and take over after they died and Sasuke would be a direct descendant to whoever that person was, unless they did not have kids either lol
