Well in a way I can understand his point of view. No pairing in this manga had a solid enough build to be interpreted in one way. So him thinking SasuSaku is a crack pairing is in a way reasonable. I mean just because its canon it does not mean the other has to accept it. As long as you know your pairing is canon you have nothing to worry about. So just let him think what he wants.

Just so we are clear, I NEVER said Sasuke loved Sakura in part one or before 699, In fact I don't think he loved her yet in chapter 699, however I DO think that he cared for her a lot but he was pushing her and all others close to him away until his change in 698.

And Sasuke in 699 and after is still the same MS, EMS, Rinnegan Sasuke but he has a much healthier mindset.

Why do you think so many people like Madara or Aizen? It's because they don't give a fk about anything else but their own goals.

Also, I liked Chuunin exams Sasuke and Hebi Sasuke too. I am not saying that bad is always good, but in some cases it builds conflict which progresses a story.
