Sasuke is trying to find himself. Also Izanami is used to make people realize the error in their ways. Kabuto thought he knew himself too and he thought there was nothing wrong with the way he was going about it. And he's still in genjutsu because he still thinks he's right. So I say that to say, Sasuke may think he's right but I bet if he was put in izanami in his current state, he'd be stuck there for a while too.
