Where do you get the idea that Genjutsus won't work on Sasori when he's hidding in Hiruko? Since Sasori sees Shisui, he can be caught in a Genjutsu. And I'm pretty sure he can also use Susanoo since he possesses the Mangekyou Sharingan.

susanoo will not help. poison gas owns it.

shisui doesn't have much feat. sasori will win.
