I think Kakuzu's doton skin is the perfect counter for Sasori's poisoned weapons.

I'm not convinced that Doton skin will save Kakuzu from poison, because it makes it difficult to deal big damage, but the whole point of Sasori's poison is that he needs only to make a scratch to be lethal.

Kakuzu's masks could fly around and take out large numbers of Sasori' puppets, but then in turn, they would all be gutted by Iron Sand World Order if they stay out of Kakuzu's doton skin.

Sasori's 100 Puppet dance / Iron Sand vs. Kakuzu's Earth Grudge Fear State would be really badass to see.

I can never decide between these two but they are both so dangerous that it would be very hard difficulty for either one.

I'm gonna go with Kakuzu due to his Doton skin, but it wouldn't go the way many of the people claimed on the thread

Sasori could use Iron Sand World Method to overwhelm Kakuzu's defense as well as killing his elemental creatures reducing him to one heart

Sasori is officially the most underrated akatsuki member! Reading some of the comments above, not only that people don't give him credit at all for his skills, he apparently is getting "raped" by Kakuzu. Quick question: is the power difference among the lower-ranked akatsuki members so big? Do you actually believe that one member (except for the main three: itachi nagato tobi ) is strong enough to play with his opponent?

Whoever wins this, wins by a narrow margin and in my opinion, that person is Sasori.
