You gave him full knowledge. Why won't he start with it in this case if he can give him the win? The difference with your scenario is that the strategy you mention not only isn't certain, but it requires prep time. There is no guarantee Sasori would pull that off before Yomi Numa finishes him

Because it's not IC? Because he'd be using a 20m Yomi Numa for a person when he only does that for summons? Again, it's not IC, and by that logic Sasori knows it's the only thing that can defeat him and boards the IS platform to prevent Yomi Numa from doing anything to him. But you're right, there's no proof that IS platform will be initiated enough and there's also no proof of Yomi Numa being executed fast enough. But then again it's not OC, so the fight starts rather differently. Not to mention, if need be Sasori can simply shoot projectiles from the beginning of the fight to prevent Yomi Numa from happening, whilst making the IS platform at the same time.

Anyways Sasori loses if he goes into SM

So starting in Hiruko isn't the best idea, however he still can take down base J-man before the time allotted so he can still win

A SM Yomi Numa couldn't fully suck in a Pein Path. How is a normal Yomi Numa sucking in Sasori? Ya, that's not happening. If he happens to get stuck, he puts his heart into another container (aka Puppet). Sasori can fly on his own, he does not need Iron Sand anyways, and if he can react to it then he can just jump away so I doubt he would get stuck in the first place. This fight can go either way, I am swaying towards Sasori's victory.
