Once sand gets into puppets there useless. Sasori is a puppet. Garra attacks first sasori can't move his joints to summon the rest of his puppets. Sasori attacks first garras sand from his auto blocks rendering whatever puppet he just used useless. Half of sasori's entire battle plan is to poison his opponents via projectiles but we have seen that projectiles rarely if not never hit garra due to how dense his sand can become.

3 kazekage's iron sand is limited garra's is indefinite. Garra has also shown the ability to manipulate sand that doesn't belong to him. The poison takes 3 days to kill. If sand gets into a puppets joints they become useless. That goes for his performance of 100 puppets, hiruko, 3 kazekage, and his very own body.

the poison doesnt take three days to kill if he delivers it to vital organs..... Sasori was impressed by kankuro's skills and just gave him a small cut.....
but wen he was fighting sakura and chiyo..... wen he stabbed sakura she began going numb wich she has told herself dat her body was beginning to get numb.... and den chiyo gave her the antidote....
he can block the sand with iron sand.... gaara can control gold dust as it was his fathers..... and he has his fathers genes.... so its obvious dat he can control gold dust..... but third kazekage is not related to gaara.... and hence he cannot control it..... and also he doesnt have agnetic property to control iron.....
if gaara can create sand in grass planes den i am pretty sure third kazekage can create iron sand from his surroundings.....

This is a great match-up I will give it to gaara do to the enviroment but these two can counter each other pretty well, but outside the dessert would make for a amazing match up.

Not true man its only with iron sand because then the 3rd Kazekage's Magnetism renders it useless
