[Discussion] Sasori remains the best in the Sand Village?

i also used to think that sasori wasnt the greatest shinobi of suna....but now am totally satisfied that sasori's the best shinobi from suna....
people are saying that sasori dint defeat 3rd kazekage by fair mean....so what??? a kage is supposed to be on gaurd always... well sasori was the one to catch him offgaurd if not defeated head on.....
and about the fight losin to a pink haired crybaby and an old hag....well they both were skilled and on top of that if anyone recollects the fight...chiyo herself said that sasori allowed her to stab him though he could have easily dodged it.....
in the end i conclude that sasori was the best shinobi from suna who died intentionally just like itachi from konoha...........

Sasori was awesome. Underrated in my opinion. Definitly the strongest in the sand, or atleast tied with Gaara.

lol Whatever. I never thought Sasori was weak, I just don't think he's the strongest. In overestimating Sasori you underestimate Gaara. I really see no point in people using the word fanboy because everyone on here is a fan of one character or another, and in this case either Gaara or Sasori, so it's kind of hypocritical if you ask me.

well i hope u know he let his guard down on purpous if u actually watched the battle.. sasori would rank 4-5th on the akatsuki list. besides chiyo's the one who taught sasori how to use puppets and chiyos really strong.

he doesnt have to be strong to be alive... is pain alive? itachi 1st hokage or even minato?

Not much with the puppeteers, they are dangerous alright for taijutsu scumsuch as Sakuro and Rocko Lee but otherwise they seem useless. I do agree Sasori´s agressiveness makles him an extremely hard to catch target.

When I think about him, and people like Kabuto or Madara, or Gaara, this Sasori guys become instant pawns.

That's the main reason why I started this thread. I like Gaara and I think he's a good shinobi, but I strongly believe that Sasori is better in every aspect.

EVERYONE- please go here and read, if you have time, why Sasori can defeat everyone in Akatsuki (it's a LONG read, but I use logic and analysis to show he can defeat Gaara with ease, SICK Itachi [not prime Itachi], and other strong opponents). I think this can change people's minds- I also show/prove without a doubt that Sasori CHOSE to die and wasn't defeated by the Kage level puppeteer and the talented medical nin:

Also, it's amazing how people are: Sakura is 16- she's not a little girl. No one says 'Pain was defeated by a little boy,' despite the fact that Sakura and Naruto are the same age. And of course, no one calls Oniki, Madara, Hiruzen, Jiraiya, etc. old hags, so why Chiyo?

There is a reason sasori is given a 34.5 in databooks one of the highest in akatsuki... he basically beats everyone in akatsuki except - tobi,itachi, orochimaru, - kisame and kakuzu are at 32, deidara said himself sasuke was stronger, imo sasori wins this, if he fights garra atm due to having more experience etc, BUT if gaara was given time to train till they were both the same age, which was like 35? then gaara would win, take into consideration that gaara is 16 or so , 1 touch from sasori and you're dead, iron sand > chakra imbued sand , and gaara explained how his attack works, his ultimate defense is sand imbued with his chakra, so when he sends sand out to attack, there is a opening sasori can use, at around 16 He defeated the third kazekage who was said to be the strongest kazekage the sand village ever had, that just about shows his strength

3rd was said to be the strongest even when Gaara was kage.
Chiyo is a "she" by the way. And she wasn't a kage ... Sasori HAS a kage + his puppets.
when did kankuro surpass sasori ? do you mean when he "beat" just sasori without ANY puppets? oh ... then your logic is flawed.
How is Temari a bad match up? she is nowhere near his speed.
