Sasori...Minato's worst Match-up

Sasori is one of the most underrated characters i've ever seen..although i believe he was badly written(being able to turn almost all of himself into a puppet wtf?) i have to admit he was broken..

I believe he is a bad match up for Yondaime and could potentially win against him..I just wanna see what is the general belief of the forum on this matter..

I wanted to add a poll but being that i know how underrated and grossly overrated the respective characters are..the results of such poll would've been more than expected so i'll just leave it for all arguements to be done with actual substantial posts.

keep in mind that i'm not outrigthly stating Sasori to be > Yondaime..feat wise nor power wise..i'm just saying that from what i've seen..well, sasori could fuuck minato's shit up.

as we all know..Sasori defies the anatomical rules of even the naruverse..

He had armies of puppets which unless you have a jutsu that is capable of clearing scores of ninjas in few seconds will grant Sasori with longevity in a battle..unfortunately for Yondaime, he hasn't shown to have that..there is a misconception about FTG being able to do that but the truth is..had Yondaime not have had the help of his comrades to throw the kunais he wouldn't have infamously killed them 50 fodder ninjas so quickly..and this is obviously a one on one fight we are talking about so he won't have his buddies there to throw the kunais for him..so..NO. Minato won't get rid of sasori puppets the same way he did with them dudes.

also, let me add that..due to him being a master at puppeteering and being able to control god knows how many poison armed puppets at the same time..that grants him excellent taijutsu.

Sasori was undestructible apart from his heart core..which minato has no knowledge of..and unless you have a doujutsu that will allow you to spot sasori's heart core..its almost impossible to kill him..again, unfortunately for Minato, he doesn't possess said doujutsu..

i won't even expand on sasori's poison..which if connected, minato wouldn't be able to find an antidote for..and iron sand..

so yh..no matter how i look at it..rasengans and hiraishin just aren't cutting it anymore..specially on this situation..Sasori would've a pretty good shot at beating yondaime..

please try and post in an unbiased manner..look past the fanboyism and/or hatred..

Sasori is deffinately underrated, I dont know if he can beat 4th Hokage though and I wouldn't call Sasori his worse matchup.

I actually share this opinion. Minato could do some damage with teleportation and Rasengan, but it's very unlikely he could do it without taking a single scratch given the unpredictability of puppets and the necessity of letting Rasengan sink in to your opponent to allow its spiraling to do damage. But Sasori is everyone's worst match up without knowledge.

I think the 4th would win, im just going by how much he figured out about tobi and prepared for it. So he should be able to figure something like that out. Also when we saw a flash back of him vs the raikage he through atleast 20 kunai very quickly so, that point about him having no help to throw kunai into battle becomes obselite.

I think that could easily deflected with Hiruko's tail,or Sasori could fly and keep a safe distance from Minato with the helicopters paddlers on his back,Minato won't be able to reach him in the air

Yeah Sasori is quite underrated because he was defeated by a girl and granny. But hes power comes from secrets which the granny knew and it was a big disadvantage.

Yes,
I agree with you completely that Sasori is verry underrated
BUT
I do not believe that he could defeat Minato, he was considered a once in a lifetime genius.
NOW if Sakura and Chiyo could figure his heart thing out then Minato should pretty quick.
Plus I am going to give you +rep since you are expressing your opinion in a ordally manner unlike most people on this forum.

the fact that sakura was able to put up a chance against him already gives minato an easy chance in winning.we all know how horrible sakura is so minato being the fourth hokage,in my book easy win for minato

Sakura by herself had NO chance against Sasori, she had a lot of help from Chiyo and she had the antidote on top of that. This is why Sasori is underrated.

well in my opinion they both died since minato can't get away in this fight without getting scratched and also minato maybe will manage to rasengan sasori heart thx to FTG

Sorry but this means nothing to me.I don't look at all to reputation when their feats patently does not qualifies that the character is above from another.

Your attempt to put Minato above Sasori is just...pathetic.
