resons for why sasori should be effected by genjutsu

1 he has sight as shown in his fights as he reacts and dodgies so he should be able to be effected by any genjutsu that effects sight

2 he can hear seeing how he has had confersations so he should be effected by genjutsu that target hearing

these are sasoris only senses seeing how he cant feel and taste or smell unless i am mistaken but he has showen the above senses and this is what genjutsu targets not necessarily the brain but he has to have a brain or he wont be able to function at all unless your implying that the heart is capable of these things

This is manga. If Sasori says he only has a heart, then he only has a heart. It's the same as how he could even turn himself into a puppet and how Hidan can talk with his head being cutted off.

yes the narutoverse does have its own logic in some cases but i doubt kishi is trying to imply that sasori is controlled entirely by the heart and with hidan he was immortal and when he had his head chopped of did his body move of its own accord no so sasori must have his brain along with his heart in that core of his
