Sasori > Itachi

Sasori is one of my fav characters and i have this thing where if somebody is a character i admire i reveal the least of his weaknesses as much as possible for the opposition. But these sasori fans will make me lay into him and show his ass up.

He is good, but he isn't that good.

Those are but for a few of his weaknesses and while not trying to downgrade sakura, if she was able to notice patterns from sasori's hand movements and what not, shinobi's with more battle experience and talent will do the same and in fact in a quicker time than sakura, somebody like a seasoned and genius sharingan user perhaps. Strong, but he is left wanting when placed against others, stronger or just as strong as him

It's a very good thread and shows that Sasori can beat Itachi, but I have a big problem with it. . How heavily you rely on the Iron Sand :/.

If the Third Kazekage puppet is taken out then that sort of throws most of your arguements away.

No. Not exaplined. Its hardly credible. Yotsuka can cut strings to all pupets and eventually will KO sasori. It took sand shield and stone golem to shield from magatamas madara threw. What makes u think some iron sand will do the job?

Also judging from the size Madara's is compared to Itachi's.One could say that its stronger.

Itachi isn't dumb..amaterasu would burn all his puppets and he would have none left..

burn sasori puppet will be a bad idea for itachi

I'm not relying only on Iron Sand. I'm relying on 100 puppets as well. It's just that counters with Iron Sand could be explained better.

Oh, yes. And those puppets are faster.

It was stated in the Databook that Sasori can control metal. U_U

Itachi can't spam Ama so if Sasori blocks it one or two times, Itachi's stamina is pretty much almost over.

It was stated in manga that Sasori can control his Iron Sand as he wishes and that magnet release can control metal.

To use amaterasu itachi must close his eye and his eyes bleed and it took a while. That give sasori a huge advantage. Just think a possible sasori could do while itachi prepare amaterasu. Itachi could only use twice amaterasu and hold full susano for a minute with his chakra. With 100 justu itachi won't hold his susano long enough to destry all the puppet, and it take only a scratch to do the job done.

Answer this, how does Itachi beat Sasori without recieving a scratch?

The container thing only has Sasori's heart and it obvious why genjutsu wont work. Iron Sand would defend Sasori from all of Itachi's attacks even Totsuka. Not to mention that iron sand can seep threw the gaps of susanoo and poison Itachi.

how can iron sand do that if your implying that gaara did so against madaras susano, so sasori should be able to but gaara had assistance from onoki who lightened his sand so it could do so and if im not mistaken iron sand should be a lot heaver than normal sand so that claim as no grounds

and no its not obvious why genjutsu doesnt work unless you can show me manga proof its all speculation on your part as sasori has to have a brain as he is able to think, see, move and hear as well as many other things and genjutsu effects the senses so as long as sasori can see than tsukyomi should work

and the iron sand as well as sasoris poisonous attacks are avoidable seeing how chiyo and sakura were able to
