Sasori is a bad match-up for Itachi

Sasori is able to counter almost all of Itachi's strong techs.This is Itachi healthy.

Sasori is not able to feel pain and although Amaterasu will burn his wooden body it would not hurt him so he could easily switch to another puppet body and then use the flaming puppet against Itachi with chakra threads. Also Itachi is not as skilled as Sasuke with Amaterasu and will not be able to do shields and stuff with it. Itachi may able to only do two Amaterasu's before exhaustion kicks in.

Tsukuyomi will not work against Sasori since genjutsu dosen't affect him. Itachi's main trait in battles is him using genjutsu but this won't work on Itachi.

Susanoo's attacks can be blocked by iron sand and Sasori could also use Iron sand to attack from the back while he distracts it by attacking from the front.He could also use his 100 puppest to attack from all sides of Susanoo.

Itachi dosen't have the stamina to fight Hiruko,3rd Kazekage,True Form Sasori and then 100 puppets. Puppets movements cannot be predicted by sharingan since they are not human. One cut from any of weapon in Sasori's large arsenal. Itachi's speed will help him to dodge some attacks but sooner or later from exhaustion he will mess up or slow down. Sasori could also use some Iron Sand on the ground to keep Itachi busy watching where he stands.

So has anyone changed their mind now about Itachi> Sasori ?

I think he can since Sasori still has a soul but the sword of totsuka isn't that fast so Sasori could dodge it or just switch to another puppet body.

Umh how can he switch to another puppet if he starts off in Hiruko??? i mean if Sasori starts off in Hiruko, then Itachi wins because in Hiruko he can't dodge Susano

I think Sasori would also be able to protect from Amatarasu(at some level) with 3rd Kazekage

I think Sasori has the upper hand here just because he has so many advantages
-IF Itachi gets scratched with poision hes effed
-Genjutsu fails

The only real chance for itachi is if he just flat out destroys Sasori....If sakura/lady chio can dodge him(for a little while at least) I positive Itachi wont get touched

Itachi would have to Amatarasu the battlefield to win(thats if Sasori and his puppets can dodge fireball jutsu)....or he could outsmart sasori somehow because hes easily top 3 for intelligence

You do speak some sense and to an extent there are certain things that wouldnt work on sasori. Tsukuyomi or paralysis genjutsu in general wouldnt work due to the aim. Normal genjutsu should work because sasori isnt an ordinary puppet. It depends if sasori can take itachi to extreme difficulties he wins because he has the number advantage. But if itachi can figure out his secret then itachi wins.

Sasori secret is the heart issue which his chakra comes from. If itachi knows this, he knows what to aim for, meaning he would only need to concentrate on the heart and the question is can he?. Ill leave this to you. Sasori has only one heart;

Itachi should still be able to predict his movements, since the Sharingan can see chakra and relies on that to be able to predict movements that thing in his chest is also his chakra supply.

I thought Itachi already beat Sasori before? Something about Deidaras initiation. Besides just because sasori is a puppet doesn't mean it wont work..he is alive hes not a machine like Johnny-5. Unless a character says( a reliable one) genju no work on puppets then I agree sasori is a bad type for Itachi but that dont mean he can't win. Itachi would have to put him down quick to win if not, in the long run Sasori will win.
