Sasori can defeat the current sasuke 1v1, multiple reasons why

1. Sasori is highly analytical and cunning vs Sasuke's pig brain

2. Iron Sand > Susanno

3. Iron Sand + Sasori's poison > Susanno

Sasuke is pretty smart as well although I agree that Sasori is smarter and also more experienced.

If Sasori can use poison gas, than sure but I'm pretty sure Sasuke can hold his breath long enough to escape it or use something from his arsenal to dispel the gas. Remember Sakura used a mere paper bomb to do so.

It grants Sasori's Kazekage puppet immunity to metallic weapons only unless of course the kkg allows the user to make anything magnetic. Still Sasuke has chidori so who needs a sword when you can make a blade of lightning?

Sharingan genjutsu won't work but stuff like amaterasu (enton and variants), chidori and susanoo (for both defence and offense) should be able to defeat Sasori and all his puppets.
