Sasori can beat Itachi [EXPLANATION]

Well this is my first post so I apologize ahead of time if it isnt very clear haha.
And after reading can you please tell me if this is good and tell me on what i can improve or add next time.

BTW I am talking about the Sasori we saw that fought Chiyo and Sakura and the Itachi that fought Sasuke. (NO EDO)

And before i say anything else; I am NOT a Sasori fanboy... i personally friggin looovvveee<3 Itachi i just dont think he can beat Sasori.

Okay Let's review:

Sasori:
-Outstanding Puppet-Master
-Took out the Third-Kazekage who had the ability to use what was known as the most feared weapon; Iron Sand.
-Akatsuki Member
-Human Puppet
-Has a collection of over 100 human puppets including the Third-Kazekage
-Because he has the Third-Kazekage he can use Iron Sand techniques
-Has ability to control 100 Puppets at once
-Very complex poison
-Many Poisoned Weapons
-Can emit Water and Fire from hands using scrolls on his back

Now....

Itachi
-From the famous Uchiha Clan
-Amazing kunai/shiruken skills
-Sharingan
-MS
-Tsukeomi
-Amaterasu
-Fire Techs
-Izanami
-Susanoo
-Yata Mirror
-Sword of Totsuka
-Akatsuki member
-Became ANBU leader at very young age
-Genjutsu

The reason i think Sasori would beat Itachi is because almost everymove itachi can use Sosori will: A.) be immune to it B.)Deflect it or C.)Get damaged and switch bodies and become fine again.

EX:
Izanami, Tsukeomi, Genjutsu- These wont effect Sasori because Genjutsu doesn't work on Puppets. (This is stated by Kankuro)

Amaterasu-Can be blocked by iron sand ( like how Garra used his sand to block Sasuke's Amaterasu) BUT If it hits Sasori he can just simpily switch bodies as long as it doesnt hit the Cylinder Sasori needs to survive with. (PS Itachi doesnt know that in order to defeat Sasori you have to destroy the cylinder.From what i know only Chiyo, Sakura, and Deidara knew)

Sword of Totsuka- wont work because it seals the person with genjutsu and genjutsu doesnt work on puppets.

Susanoo- This is probably going to be the biggest problem for Sasori seeing that Sasori doesn't really have anything to penetrate it what Sasori can do is he can wait it out and dodge Susanoo/switch bodies until Itachi runs out of chakra.

As you can see Sasori can hold his ground against Itachi and has a very high chance of beating him.

Another thing Itachi's vision was going bad so it would make it wayyyyy harder to dodge/deflect Sasori's needle barrage and attacks. Remember one little scratch Itachi's a goner.

So yeah i think Sasori would win in a one on one fight with Itachi.

Dont say "Sasori<Chiyo&sakura<Itachi so Sasori<Itachi"
Chiyo and Sakura were the perfect opponents for Sasori and Sasori did let them win. (Chiyo said that after the fight)

Sasori's puppet body can be sealed, simply because ANYTHING can be sealed.

Even if something isn't living, it doesn't mean it can't be sealed.
Anything that gets caught by the Totsuka Blade will get sealed, if the user wishes it.

Chakra can be sealed, items can be sealed, so why can't Sasori be sealed?

I agree that Sasori is very underrated, and could possibly defeat Itachi when it came right down to it, but 7/10 times Itachi takes this.

- Actually i've changed my mind. Sasori is the PERFECT matchup for Itachi.

His versatility when it comes to moving around will easily dodge anything Itachi has to throw at him. Also the 100 puppets can be manipulated to overwhelm the Susano'o and exploit the weak point at the bottom. And then one touch of ANY of Sasori's weapons, and its game over for Itachi.

The fact is, Itachi can't get close enough to use Totsuka because of poison fog.

He also cannot avoid the poison needles, so he'll have to use Susano. He'll run out of Chakra before anything else.

However anything is possible with Itachi, he might be able to blitz Sasori at the start. He'll also recognize his weakness in an instant

Sasori can not block amateratsu. If he comes at him with the third kazekage puppet he just sasanoo up and stap him in the stupid target on his chest or he can just use Ama and burn him to nothing. this thread is dumb. Sasori is Itachi's worst match. He does not have raw power but relies on poison and itachi wields the strongest defense in the series. he will never hit him with his dumb weapons. If puppets can fall under genjutsu he loses faster.

I believe you are correct. Iron sand can be used just as much on defense as on offense. And really Itachi's only hope is to hit Sasori's heart with Amaterasu or the Sword of Totsuka. So yes, Itachi has a chance, but considering that Sasori knows his weakness, he WILL defend it. Against Chiyo and Sakura he was cocky and didn't but against Itachi he would. That would at least deal with Amaterasu, seeing as how any barrier would take the flames and not his heart. And since he is a puppeteer, he fights from a distance. The sword of Totsuka has a range, and so he could easily control his puppets out of the range of the sword.

And otherwise, Sasori would definitely be able to outlast Itachi with combination attacks from his many puppets. So I agree, Sasori has the upper hand and would beat Itachi I'd say...6/10 times.

All itachi has to do is use his shuriken jutsu to hit sasoris heart
And if that doesnt work he can use amaterasu which is almost instant and is faster than sasukes enton that gaara blocked

I've always believed that Sasori would beat Itachi who fought Sasuke, because sick Itachi would be open for attacks after he uses one of his stronger attacks (ex: Amaterasu/Tsukuyomi), and his chakra is below average because of sickness, and he can't fight someone who has 5 in stamina with below average stamina. Also, sick Itachi was losing his eyesight from overusing the MS, and he did lose his eyesight while fighting 3-tomoe Sasuke.

But healthy Itachi would beat Sasori imo.
