Sasori as Kazekage?

How well do you think Sasori (and Suna) could've done if he was the Fourth Kazekage? If he assassinated the Third Kazekage, but stayed in the village, he probably would've been a good candidate for Yondaime. Keeping the Third Kazekage puppet as an ultimate last resort (I think Suna would be more willing to accept Sasori having puppet body, if he were to go that route, than for him to reveal he has the Sandaime's body as a puppet,) And he'd probably heavily increase the Puppet Corps, maybe even give his poisons to them. The puppet corps would gain the creed, "One Scratch, and you're ****ed."

He was defeated by perfect counter and emotion BS.

He would be an extremely powerful Kazekage, if that's what you're asking, but being the Kazekage is kind of out of character for him considering he probably doesn't give a single shit about the people in Suna.​

He would be a pretty good Kazekage, though I doubt he would ally Suna with other villages, Suna would be a village others would feel fear when they hear the name.

You guys all make good points! While I don't think Sasori would honestly care about anyone in Suna, I'm pretty sure he'd still make a damn fine Kazekage. And if he were to find out that Kakashi's dad killed his parents, he might just declare war on Konoha.

I don't know if Gaara would become a Jinchuuriki or not, though.

Just awesome. Only a high kage ranked puppeteer can take down sasori. one more thing sasori willingly gave up that fight! so he was never defeated in a sense. And if he became the kaze kage he would be the strongest
