Nonetheless, this is something serious we are talking about here, being capable of taming the 10 tails, and potentially being a weapon that can be used against naruto. if this does happen I would see it going no other way than Naruto being a living Reincarnation of the Sage of Six Paths. Though Gedo being a man is not exactly realistically possible. In my mind the Gedo Mazo is , in my mind the spiritual and physical form of the Ten Tails spirit which can only be summoned and controlled while using the Rinnengan(hence why Nagato raped anbu and Hanzo using it) Because the Rinnengan is intertwined with the fate of the Sage of Six Paths, and the Ten Tails, someone here is going to get the Rinnengan and It'll be either Naruto, or Sasuke, or both

We know these people will have been somehow intertwined with destiny: Naruto, Sasuke, Hashirama, Madara, Tobi, the Sage of Six Paths, the sons, and every ninja in the Uchiha and the Senju Clan. We have a missing part of the Uzumaki's which also adds Nagato to the equation. Nagato needs Uchiha DNA to be capable of using the Rinnengan. He has Senju DNA as Uzumakis are distant relatives to the Senju. I presume Tobi or Madara gave the Uchiha part of the equation to him be giving him the power of the Uchiha. The Sharingan. These people intertwine with other people known or have to have been known to have relation with Uchiha and Senju that are still alive. AKA Karin(who's DNA must have been taken to make edo Madara in his "prime", Kakashi, Tsunade, and others who are uknown. (Naruto and Karin can't be the only uzumakis left and there have to be more senju around as well).
Other thing's we are forgetting about since Naruto is fighting tobi are little insignificant things that could be story changing...
1. Suigetsu's Scroll and dafuq is in it.
2. Karin attempting to escape...
3. Sasuke's/Orochi's goal which is as of now, unknown.
4. Naruto being the reincarnation of the Sage of Sixth paths... (according the the bijuu)
5. Sasuke foreshadowing of him obtaining the Rinnengan when Madara confirmed Sharingan>MSharinga>EMSharingan/Rinnengan
6. Kage's failing ass..
