Jecht is a muscular and tanned 30 year old man with long unruly black hair and red eyes. His only clothing is a pair of black shorts with an orange and red sash covering his right leg, a red headband, and a metal gauntlet covering his left arm. A black tattoo also emblazons his chest. There is also a clusters of spikes under his sash and emerging from his left shoulder.
個人性|Personality:
On the surface, Jecht is a surly and arrogant man and a bully. He frequently refers to himself as "The Great Jecht" (Jecht-sama in the Japanese releases, giving himself a respectful, in this case arrogant, honorific), and is known to Konoha as "Sir Jecht" due to being a famous Guardian. Jecht considers himself the best blitzball player there is and loves fame and glamor, asking Braska several times if there will be any celebratory events on their pilgrimage. Jecht's career hit a slump when he began drinking, and it was rumored he was going to retire, though he was quick to deny this and claimed he could quit drinking if he chose. Jecht used to be emotionally abusive to Tidus, giving him the nickname "crybaby", and otherwise brushing him off or berating him.
Despite his numerous flaws, Jecht is a good man at heart.

History:
During the Third Ninja war, Jecht served as a ninja of Konoha. At some point during the conflict, he converses with his comrades about trying to open up a bit towards his allies, as they are becoming somewhat nervous about his loner attitude. When he ends up sacrificing his duties as a ninja as he began to drink excessively, because of this some theorized he should retire, but Jecht insisted that he still was the best. Jecht's son, Tidus, claims he hates his father for putting him and his mother through hard times, and because he was left under a lot of pressure to live up to Jecht's fame. Whenever Jecht was around, according to Tidus, his mother ignored her son to spend time with her husband. Jecht disappeared one day while training out at sea, where he came in contact with the Giant Island Turtle resting in the waters. Serpent pulled Jecht out of the water and transported him into present-day Kumo, where he was seen as a crazy drunkard and locked up. Soon after his imprisonment, Kirabi visited Jecht and requested he become his guardian along with Igneel. Igneel, wary of Jecht, objected to him being a guardian, but B thought it the perfect irony for the most unlikely person to defeat the Falls of Truth; a drunken deadbeat from Konoha.

Specialty:
Much like many of the Sarutobi clan, Jecht shows a very proficient use of fire release techniques. Having trained in them from such a young age, he was able to easily master the techniques and thus gained an affinity for the element allowing him to cast many destructive fire techniques in rapid succession. Like the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Jecht also is a master of the earth element, a testament to his brute strength he is often seen completing techniques much faster then the average shinobi catching many unsuspecting opponents off guard causing him to be seen as the Second Coming of Hiruzen himself by the Sarutobi clan.
Weaponry:
In his ninja pouch, Jecht carries the standard assortment of ninja tools. His projectile of choice is the shuriken and he is effective in their use able to quickly hit multiple targets with extreme accuracy and precision, he rarely misses his intended target. He not only carries wiring but also a assortment of tags that include explosive and flash bang, and also a few scrolls that house other weapons. His main weapon consist of a large black great sword with red markings which current abilities are unknown. However he has been shown to easily wield the weapon swing it with relative ease
in the most dire of situations.
Taijutsu:
A very athletic and muscular man, Jecht is incredibly fast and strong he was able to master several styles of taijutsu he is has been deemed a Drunken Fist expert having developed the Drunken God Fist techniuqe. His training includes personal lessons from the monk Zenryoku, through years of training he was able to call himself one of the lucky few to have achieved Sixth Sense.
