It's okay that they questioned him about it. However arresting him him and holding him in a juvenile detention? That just shows the racism :lol.

You're not serious, are you? You're so far behind here, I can't even justify this with a proper response.

I'm not going to blindly accept any quote without documentation.

Regardless, what you just said is procedure. He wasn't charged, they were simply confirming the situation. That's how it works, bro.
Since he's underage, they broke the juvenile justice code by refusing him access to his parents. Secondly, the principal tried to coerce a written statement from him by threatening expulsion. Not only that, he was suspended for three days. Finally, the police made questionable comments, saying "That's who I thought it was" when the kid came into the room.

Most of this wouldn't have happened if he didn't have brown skin or wasn't Muslim.

To be fair... i didn't look like a clock and they were justified in being suspicious.

The the actual arrest was overkill. should have never made it to handcuffs.
^ This pretty much.

It's not like the cases where kids acted like they had a gun by chewing a pop tart. This kid was simply working on a clock. He probably had no idea he would be arrested for it. I mean I haven't seen it in any school code of conduct that students can't bring items with wires and a circuit board to school. Have u guys????

As far as Obama stepping in....I think it was nothing more than a ploy to increase his image. Showing that he is doesn't stand by racial mistreatment does a lot for him
