She really had to go there and side with the teachers about the clock/bomb. Palin is too jealous. :bdpf:

I would have thought that too but since this is a Muslim in the situation let alone a 14 year old, Palin is really starting something. Either she wants attention or just hates successful kids.To be fair... i didn't look like a clock and they were justified in being suspicious.
The the actual arrest was overkill. should have never made it to handcuffs.

100% agree. To be fair... i didn't look like a clock and they were justified in being suspicious.

Uh... teachers don't call the bomb squads or swat teams. That's on the police. Once it was decided it wasn't a bomb, (which was quite quickly) there was no need to follow procedure.I'mma leave this here. You must be registered for see images
So they decided it wasn't a bomb when they were there, and yet they still arrested him? That makes sense.Uh... teachers don't call the bomb squads or swat teams. That's on the police. Once it was decided it wasn't a bomb, (which was quite quickly) there was no need to follow procedure.
Don't turn this into something it's not.
You still arrest people who make false threats, or who instigate actions that produce unnecessary panic, the latter of which, he did, albeit unwillingly. So they decided it wasn't a bomb when they were there, and yet they still arrested him? That makes sense.
Uh, no, he wasn't making a false threat or instigating anything. Not only that, but when he told them he made a clock after they arrested him, they told him he was hiding things. You arrest people who make false threats, or who instigate actions that produce unnecessary panic.
Seeing as how the school believed him to have brought in a bomb, I would say he created unnecessary panic. Try again.Uh, no, he wasn't making a false threat or instigating anything. Not only that, but when he told them he made a clock after they arrested him, they told him he was hiding things.
Okay, but then why didn't the cops believe him, after he was arrested and told them it was just a clock? If that was the case, they would have gone through regular procedure for a bomb, at the school.Seeing as how the school believed him to have brought in a bomb, I would say he created unnecessary panic. Try again.
And I'll repeat, "he wasn't charged, if you recall. Being arrested is procedure even for those who have not broken the law."
They did believe him, which is why they didn't look for bombs. But by procedure, he has to be arrested until the full story is uncovered. It was uncovered, and he was released without being charged.Okay, but then why didn't the cops believe him, after he was arrested and told them it was just a clock? You are only detained if a crime is suspected. Police can't just slap cuffs off on you and say you look suspiciousSeeing as how the school believed him to have brought in a bomb, I would say he created unnecessary panic. Try again.
And I'll repeat, "he wasn't charged, if you recall. Being arrested is procedure even for those who have not broken the law."
"They told me 'No, you can't call your parents,'" Ahmed said. "'You're in the middle of an interrogation at the moment.' They asked me a couple of times, 'Is it a bomb?' and I answered a couple of times, 'It's a clock.'"They did believe him, which is why they didn't look for bombs. But by procedure, he has to be arrested until the full story is uncovered. It was uncovered, and he was released without being charged.
They had to follow bomb procedure, whatever that is. But they obviously didn't. They treated him as a terroist.Seeing as how the school believed him to have brought in a bomb, I would say he created unnecessary panic. Try again.
And I'll repeat, "he wasn't charged, if you recall. Being arrested is procedure even for those who have not broken the law."
You're not serious, are you? You're so far behind here, I can't even justify this with a proper response. You are only detained if a crime is suspected. Police can't just slap cuffs off on you and say you look suspicious
I'm not going to blindly accept any quote without documentation."They told me 'No, you can't call your parents,'" Ahmed said. "'You're in the middle of an interrogation at the moment.' They asked me a couple of times, 'Is it a bomb?' and I answered a couple of times, 'It's a clock.'"
That's from CNN.
BTW, got to go.
