Sasuke went through all the stages yet never randomly unlocked Genjutsu nor did Kakashi try to teach him. The only way this can make sense is if later on we find out that her MS ability correlates to some find of OP Genjutsu. That way they could do what Kishi did with 2T Obito , when it was hinted that Obito unlocked some kind of premature Kamui to faze through Madara's cave.

@bold: That doesn't negate it being possible, Sasuke not doing something doesn't negate it whether with 1 tomoe or 3. We have a canon arc confirming that genjutsu can be cast Via 1 tomoe, I don't see the actual reason to deny this. The way I've always viewed the tomoe was that with more tomoe more potency is added in each of it's abilities. As for Kakashi not teaching Sasuke then there are a lot of things Kakashi didn't teach him. On that point in all honesty it was just nerf for Sasuke if he was using genjutsu against everybody he came across the matches would be over before they began. If that's not enough then she is the daughter of the Sage of 6 paths. Her relationship is like Indra's was to Hogaromo it's natural she'd possess an overpowered Sharingan akin to Indra's.

I agree though it would be nice to have a paper demonstration or confirmation.

When was it ever stated that 1T can't cast genjutsu? Even a finger or a handseal can cast a genjutsu, let alone a Sharingan (even if it's just 1T, it's still a Sharingan).

Besides, Sarada was stated to have 4 stars in genjutsu in the Boruto DB (manga), thus, making Marksmanship and Genjutsu her two specialties.

Just because we have never seen a 1T cast genjutsu, doesn't mean it can't. And to be honest, 1T Sharingan was pretty much untapped territory since Sarada.
