I mean, he could hold back a little, but come on, the Leaf has an A+ hospitality. Shinki could always be healed by the Leaf doctors, damn a missed out opportunity.

Just keeping track for myself:
The second round should consist of:
Boruto vs Shikadai
Sarada vs Araya
Mitsuki vs Shinki
If you ask me, Sarada is almost certain to beat Araya. Originally Shikadai beat Boruto by disqualification, but I think that will be retconned here.
Mitsuki vs Shinki could go either way, but based on hype (and the opening, and the fact that Mitsuki isn't using his full strength, then I'd predict that Shinki will win).

That would be chronologically inaccurate though since the KK incident doesn't happen until some time after this exam.
Filler and Canon have been destroyed. That concept does not apply to Boruto Naruto Next Generations.

We don't know what will happen, I think Boruto may lose and get disqualified. Naruto may publically strip him of his headband and humiliate him post chunin exam. That way we would get a Shikidai vs Sarada vs Shinki final and get to see it. That would be true justice and good writing by SP.

I meant that Boruto got disqualified. Originally, Boruto was announced the winner, but Naruto caught Boruto cheating and then took away Boruto's head band and had Lee ammend the winner to Shikadai.

What are you saying? Boruto lost that match.... ? And i know what happened, but you kept saying that Boruto won that match when he was outsmarted by Shikadai and lost the match until the use of cheat device?

It's good, a bit too much high fiving and not enough of a competitive attitude for my liking. They're in a competition and need to behave like potential enemies.
