Boruto goes down first, Sarada puts up a bit of a fight, boruto gets back up as she’s about to get ko’d, and then momo comes in... I mean, they have to do that in this fight now right? I don’t really see how they can take shinki so interrupting the fight seems like the best bet

It's whatever at this point, but the anime should stick to cannon facts. It should be adjacent to the events in the movie. Boruto in the movie absolutely looked pathetic without the Kote.

Every time he is under pressure he resorts to using it. Refer to the battle with Shikamaru when he was caught in his Shadow Possession Jutsu, he used it to create a bunch of clones. Shikadai in the mix would definitely be more interesting in these Chunin Exams, he can fight.

i just want to say even though what shikidai did was cool and all the fact boruto was even able to make a seal means the technique wasnt holding him strong enough boruto could have just tried making the shadow clone symbol with all the clones plus him at the same time and it would have overpowered the jutsu even if he couldnt make another clone he also couldnt have held them all back from making the sign then boruto could have released the other clones and remade one and still won. I get the point of trying to say its cheating in one way but then on the other hand what do you call it when kiba used akamaru in naruto or when kankouro used his puppets they werent considdered cheating then so im kinda lost. I see the point from a real life perspective but when it goes down to the prespective from the story it doesnt make much sense.

Oh so Sarada is defeating Araya and then Shinki will beat Mitsuki... Such a shame, I get it that they're trying to make Shinki look as cool as Gaara back in the day, but I still think that Mitsuki is the strongest out of the current generation. He can pretty much obliterate everyone if he uses his true power, I don't really know why Orochimaru doesn't allow him to use his Sage Mode. The triple threat starting in ep. 61 will be sick tho, although most of it will be Boruto and Sarada vs Shinki. Ending the fillers with a proper Boruto vs Sarada is totally fine, although he can't really defeat her unless he uses the ninja weaponry.

Nice fanfic, there's a difference she didn't need it to neg Boruto as she did, and only used it because of Mitsuki. Anyway the difference is it was sanctioned for Sarada since they were sent there to test the tools. In Boruto's scenario he used it when it was prohibited and because his own skills were inadequate.

You just called it fanfic, but in the same breathe admitted she used it and ain’t you the guy who always talking about using another power what ain’t yours cheating and all that good stuff, guess it don’t apply when it’s someone you like though. Pretty sure if that was boruto in the same situation she was in and did the same thing he would of been everything in the book, that’s why I never take you seriously

The fanfic was you trying to justify one by comparing it to the other. Boruto's cheating = prohibited tool use. Sarada's = sanctioned testing tool use. It doesn't apply because of those reasons and the situation of use. I'll ignore the adhominem deflections for now.

That's not what Inwas referring to, if ypu don't know or can't see the difference between the two scenarios then you're in need of help. Re-read the two chapters to understand the difference.
