Its kind of up in the air whether she let it happen or not. I think she did get caught by surprise there and Boruto saved her. Putting herself in danger wouldn't really help the overall plan, after all, which was overwhelming the guy and forcing him to run off.

It was casual affair but she did keep up pretty good and even put boruto down momentarily before mitsukis entrance. Not bad at all

Salad fans wetting themselves to this when spars are not even relevant to a character's actual strength, since they aren't going all out. Otherwise, HAnabi without Rotation takes an L from a 9 year old kid.

Heck, scratch that, it's about as meaningful as Naruto/Sasuke managing to one up Kakashi a few times during the bell training. Or Mitsuki and/or Sasuke VS Orochimaru.

We know Sarada is equal to if not better in thaijutsu. Somebody who's skilled in thaijutsu doesn't get tripped like a rag doll. Her ability to match and counter the CQC ability of somebody who excels in CQC was being pointed at.

I don't see the smile anyway even if it was that would be the smile of relief seeing Mitsuki. And I was reffering to when sarada has a kunai on his and Mitsuki's neck and you see Boruto sweating and worried.

From the look of it, Boruto made a counter attack on sarada with a kick right before Mitsuki entered the fray. The only impressive thing she's done is that she managed to avoid both boruto and mitsuki in that one moment before she resorted to cheat.

Testing doesn't have prohibition 1 is to test devices.
