So apparently she had the sharingan way earlier , so maybe that is why she was sick that one time. When Sakura was speaking to shizune, Sakura confirmed it.
And kishi kinda did have a drawing a a young Sarada with her sharingan and said she posses the same kkg as Sasuke.

But that scene where Sakura pushed her out of being teleported was so sad, Sarada should had a fully matured sharingan by the end of this story line,

Sarada's had sharingan since Sasuke left what Sakura confirmed was it's feeling sensitive. So she's had it since she was around 1 or 2 kids being extra sensitive and that. It seems her potential is beyond what I initially thought.

Most likely and she wants to prevent Sarada's eyes experiencing strain to manifest the sharingan in front of others.
My guess is the glasses themselves cause blurred vision everyone Sarada's about to manifest sharingan and so she rubs them or closes them allowing the sharingan to retreat so others don't see it.
Pretty clever of Sakura if you ask me.

I'm guessing Sarada awakened her Sharingan when she was 3 or 4 then? That's the average age for people to rember their early childhood memories.

Age 1 or 2 Sasuke suddenly leaving caused her shock emotional trauma. And because Sasuke has Rokudo chakra it likely amplified her emotional response.

I wouldn't be surprised Sarada doesn't even notice her sharingan being activated, and she was a pretty preceptive and smart 3 year old, she somehow was able to suggest that Sakura was making an adult joke , so I wouldn't be surprised if she was a toddler with a sharingan

This is the younger version of Sarada, drawn by Kishi, that Femme is talking about. Apparently, she has the Sharingan since she was a little child indeed.

Hopefully, they will show her real awakening.

Anything added story wise in the anime outside of gaiden is nothing but filler.
