Sorry, what development do we see regarding Hinata and Temari’s character that’s outshines early Part 2 Sakura? They had the most stagnant development especially considering they were side-characters.

Her eyes are not on paar with a 3 tomoe sharingan. When people claim this they need to take into account what is exactly a Sharingan and which abiltites it gives. While it is not obvious what a 3 tomoe can do, claiming Sakura eyes are equal or better is just nonsense.

You can tell just how little Kishimoto cared for Sakura when every other character bar her had at least some gimmick while she had nothing until she was given generic Super Strength.

Gimmick, for schooling purposes, means an impressive tool that's not really useful. Now, to imply Naruto or Sasuke or Neji had gimmicks even in early pt.1 is just utter bs and needs to be slandered right off the bat. And that's not even getting to the part where you say her strength was generic when no one else could replicate it, not even Hyuuga's who have been touted as having beyond prosaic chakra control and capacity to learn all ninjutsu, while that took Sakura no more than a few months, probably.

The anathema around her continues to amaze me in all honesty, when she's atypical and strays away from the monotonous manner in which characters are treated. Sasuke and Naruto got purposely pumped up with power through-out the series and wouldn't be left alone to grow naturally, just because fans are irrationally into powers getting busted out then seeing that as character development. The bitter truth is the Western fandom just doesn't actually know what real development is, and as a result, oversees actual development being delivered in a proper way; and that's sadly partially attributable to why any little development Sakura got was completely oblivious to and every time she messed up slightly she got slandered and subsequently creating the now unreasonably spiteful fans that slander the character at every given point.

If you think Pt.2 Sakura didn't get any significant development and can be juxtaposed with current Sarada, then you really got to start considering comprehension lessons.

Also, at the bold, I think Gaiden did the worst damage to her character.

Sakura is the integral harmony in the Uchiha family and she's the mother of Sarada Uchiha, the first solo female this manga will ever get, you just got to deal.

She studied Sakurology along with Hinatology and is now on her way to getting a degree in Otsutsukology.

Let's take away all the fancy powers Naruto and Sasuke were handed out and the story is massively reduced to a simplistic "I'll save you Sasuke, Naruto leave me alone" monotony that goes on until the war drags us away from that bs for a while before once again delvining into that unending sequence that ends up with Sasuke finally giving in to Naruto whose dream was unconvingly becoming Hokage and not saving Sasuke. Now in between all that the development of these characters is minutely obscured and you barely even care about Sasuke at the point where he's hunting down the ones involved with Itachi's supposed murder, because it's just been the same Sasuke all the way, except he comes out of the shell after all that containing of his emotions with Itachi's grief fucking him up. Sasuke is still the same old Sasuke with really miniscule development, but with shocks here and there to keep us on our toes. Now Naruto is even worse. He's the same throughout the entire fucking story, he never gets mad at even Sakura besides that one point he sees through Sakura's lie to stop him from going after Sasuke, but even then it goes under the bridge no later than when they meet up again, this is an entire thread altogether, but we all know how Naruto could magically overcome his hatred whenever it seemed to come to the surface and how he just got saved repeatedly and shit of that sort that got really boring in the end, just tell me when you ever felt Naruto could really die? Anyway, it's obvious these characters weren't written well either, just weren't as unfortunate as characters that weren't corpulent in power hand-outs either. Just imagine how much of a better character Hinata would have been if she was handled as good as her inner development was; let's face it, the only real thing that's shitting on her is she's not getting that sort of character development that makes Sasuke and Naruto appreciable i.e fighting ability development; not to get so much of it and almost be ignored like Kiba was makes you a bad character overall. Case in point: Konohamaru who was not so long ago much more appreciated.
