The OP is right, unlike Himawari, Sarada's mom is actually powerful and passed down her skills to her daughter. You are right that the 2 scenarios cannot be compared, Sarada's feat was the most impressive we've seen from an academy student, knocking down multiple MS users while dodging an attack with her Sharingan. While Himawari's feat was nothing but comic relief, Naruto was as dumbfounded as the readers. If they were to face off Sarada would crush her like a bug.

Sarada's destined for greatness, can't say the same for Himawari, boruto would take the spotlight in her family if the series ever continues.

Himawari wasn't aiming for Naruto. Giving Himawari the feat of defeating Naruto makes about as much sense as giving Shin the feat of defeating Sasuke when he jumped in the way of the knives headed towards Sarada

I didn't say she was a master yet, she's on her way (not too far). Sakura mastered medical ninjutsu in 3 years, something tells me Sarada is almost there due to have the strongest medical ninja in world as a mother and already harnessing CES. We actually do, it said that Sarada inherited her power from Sakura. Basically Sakura passed it down, like any mother would. You can use the lateral meaning.

Since we know chakra control, and CES are techniques you learn, and not passed through genetics.

Well, you just solo'd yourself there :sdo: considering the fact that she learned something at age 12 which took her mother up to age 16 (with years of practice) to properly learn and apply in battle, means that she's developing her fighting skills at a faster rate than Sakura. A four year lead to be precise. The fact that she achieved something at age twelve that her mother didn't, with the boost of sharingan, does give her an extreme amount of potential.

If this series were to continue with them i could see Sarada mastering the seal earlier than Sakura did. He's saying the reason why Sarada is grasing things earlier and faster than Sakura, is because Sarada has Sakura there. in comparison to Sakura, she started her training literally in the final arc of the series. Her CES was off paneled like Sarada, so we don't know how long it took them to learn it. We just know they they had teachers. I don't have a doubt in my mind that Sakura would of grasped CES at Sarada's age if she had Tsunade with her from the start. Even Tsunade herself pointed out in the last two chapters of Part 1 that she had not seen such talent (referring to Sakura) since Shizune. Sakura herself was never an underdog, unless your trying to compare the fact that she doesn't come from some Clan.

But yeah I agree. It should be obvious by the time of the next generation 'Shippuden' time skip, Sarada would have War Arc level strength. Considering if she has the Byakugou by then, since she would need that to show that level of power. Which wouldn't surprise me either if she'll be learning how to store it in her forehead by the end of her Part 1 Genin life.
