Sarada is a female clone of Sasuke? Sarada's umbilical cord in Karin's desk?

Sarada was probably born in Orochomaru's hideout since it seems Sarada's umbilical cord is in Karin desk which explains why she has no Konoha birth certificate. I don't think its confirmed who Sarada's mother is if this is true.

Suigetsu seems half sure that its Karin's DNA but I think the reason Kishimoto had Suigetsu do the DNA test was because if Orochimaru did the test he would make sure he knew who's DNA he was matching with Sarada's DNA.

If that was Karin's DNA in the desk it confirms that she is the mother. Below are the three options I see being confirmed by Sasuke or Orochimaru:

1. Sarada is a female clone made from 2 of Sasuke's X chromosomes
2. Sarada's mother is Karin
3. Sasuke created Sarada from his rinnegan powers

Kishi could have Orochimaru explain that Karin asked him to clone since she thought that having a clone of Sasuke would make him date her. And that they had some DNA stored away from when Sasuke was 17 years old (some blood).

However Karin drops the tube containing Sasuke's blood and damages the Y chromosome in the blood. So Orochimaru has to take 2 of Sasuke's X chromosomes to clone him.

Orochimaru could do this by taking a X chromosome from 2 white blood cells in Sasuke's blood.

I'd have to say that the DNA in that desk is possibly Sasuke's. Why would Karin keep her own DNA in her desk? She wouldn't have a need for it since um.. she has her own DNA on call right from the source? A lot of evidence points to Sakura being the mother. How could Naruto not know Sarada was Karin's child? He would have to approve Sarada living in the village. Also, he would have seen Sakura pregnant before hand. Considering he had no idea suggests that Sakura was indeed pregnant, Suigetsu can't do DNA testing due to not knowing what the base DNA was to begin with (he questioned if it was Karin's), and that this is all a ploy to develop Sarada's sharingan by the end of the manga. (since this era has no wars and hardly any conflict)

Wolverine has a female clone called X23 and Cammy White may be a female clone of Bison from Street fighter. Anything can happen in fiction.

I agree with what you said in your edit, i think Kishimoto is trying to trick us and chapter 9-10 will end the Sarada mother drama.

I don't mind who Sarada's mother is, Sarada having Uzumaki DNA would be a good thing.

If Kishimoto does another timeskip were Sarada is 19 years old then she could have Uzumaki chakra chains and MS powers with Uzumaki level stamina.

Orochimaru created Shin clones so I would be surprised if he never tried to clone Sasuke even if Sarada isn't a clone. Like Orochimaru could try putting Hashirama DNA in a Sasuke clone and take over the clones body.

It just said "match found" so its possible for the DNA in Karin's draw to be Sarada or Sasuke's DNA which seems like something Kishimoto would do.

This is the most likely option but I wouldn't mind if Sakura fed on Karin's chakra during her pregnancy and ended up influencing Sarada's DNA

If this is true then wouldn't all the ninja Naruto gave chakra to have Naruto's DNA? I'm not saying its impossible as Naruto's DNA was affected by the 9 tails chakra as Naruto's kids have whiskers.

Maybe you need a ton of someones's chakra for a long time for it to affect your DNA? Baby Naruto would have been exposed to the 9 tails chakra for a long time during Kushina's pregnancy.

Naruto didn't share chakra like Hagoromo though, I think he can only do that with RSM. But yeah maybe Kishi is trying to make a parallel by having Sarada influenced by Karin like Naruto's children influenced by Kurama.

I think the chakra has to be special for it to work, like Ootsutsuki descendants and bijuu chakra because they both relate to Hagoromo.

Gin&Kin got chakra cloaks after eating flesh so maybe consuming enough of Karin's blood would give Sarada her abilities and hence her DNA
