There was a release of a new Berserk game a few days ago, rumors of Miura (Creator of Berserk) and Miyazaki (Creator of Dark Souls) collaborating in a making of a new game, we have the new Berserk 2017 anime that's coming in this Spring and we have the manga continue where it was left off, possibly this month of the next.

Probably because he has the same level of kai release as Madara, they were both able to break out of Kabuto's mind control with no effort.
