I don't want Sarada to walk on the same path as Naruto where he always overcome every obstacle and had the answer figured out from the very beginning and never changed his outlook as a result. Sarada needs to lose at some point because every obstacle Sarada encountered was met with her strong commitment So despite meeting incredible adversity to her resolve tested to the breaking point, Sarada never wavered from what she believed in.
