When was the last time an Uchiha got owned by Genjutsu that wasn't Sharingan Genjutsu?

Kabuto used tayuya's genjutsu, which was no ordinary genjutsu, a genjutsu empowered by sage mode of the white snake and the empowered with the cursed seal of heaven and cursed seal of earth along with orochimaru's chakra. 4 of these guys combined made that genjutsu pretty OP.

He's likely upset because last week he claimed Blruto knew about Sarada's Sharingan and therefore planned on how to take out Konohmaru. He's also upset because Sarada figured out how to take out Mirai amongst many other reasons. Most importantly because Boruto wasn't the main focus of this episode and didn't serve a leadership role.


Oh and the fact that Sarada isn't a Mary Sue.

Sarada barely did anything
Boruto's clone tactic was credited as the save
Boruto broke Sarada out of a Genjutsu.

You cannot even think straight. No need to get so emotional over a freaking anime episode.

If Konohamaru told Bortuo about sharingan it means he didn't see it himself. In this episode- which BTW I watched only to check why you were reacting this way- Boruto asked if it was that sharingan thing- meaning he heard about it but probably didn't saw her using it first hand.

Yeah I'm upset that:

Boruto fought Mirai head to head
Sarada barely did anything

Mirai was not there to kill hokage's son.+ Boruto was able to fight because he got help from Sharada. They coordinated with whole shuriken attack and clone combo.

Sharada is still new at using her eyes- she learned something quick but not mastered it. On one hand you complain she is Mary Sue on another you complain that she hasn't figured her sharingan out within a short span and learned everything.

Well if you don't care then why did you just try to ignore Sarada's coordination with him during his fight? It was reminiscent of their father's coordination as a kid.

There are groups of loud reactionary people from many communities. It shouldn't affect our own judgement.

Boruto is extension of Naruto so of course it's cliche.

Agreed lol.. Her 1T has demonstrated feats we saw with advanced forms of Sharingan.. There really isn't any other reason she should be unable to break out of a genjutsu other than inconsistency with the eyes abilities on the authors part.

There aren't any inconsistencies with the abilities of the eye. Maybe her experience and power with it, but to say that the abilities itself are inconsistent is wrong.

The Sharingan doesn't have a limited amount of abilities at one tomoe, what you're trying to say is that the eye isn't mature enough to be used that well. Maybe Sarada's abilities with her eye are on a different level, and she's more talented. However, if you believe the abilities are restricted to the tomoe's that would be faulty, considering the 3T has more abilities than the amount of tomoe's it has.

It was a nerf, Sarada should have both Sakura and sharingan genjutsu resistance, she did break free of it though, I think they just needed to show ranking.

Sarada naturally has a 4 in genjutsu, I think she will eventually rematch wth Miria and learn to reflect the genjutsu.

I don't watch the anime so the bold could be a point and i like the choice of using 'maybe' lol.. I however still disagree with the rest of the post. The number of tomoe obviously does not dictate the number of powers when 1T should at least grant two abilities.. Perception clarity (which we actually see in the manga) and some form of minor genjutsu related ability (maybe seeing through one) since having a dojutsu grants extra sensory perception.

Naruto failed to resist Tenseigan Genjutsu.

Sakura managed to resist Tenseigan Genjutsu.

Therefore, Sakura Resistance > Tenseigan Genjutsu > Naruto Resistance> Rennigan/EMS Genjutsu > 2T Genjutsu.

If that is gonna be used against Sasuke then why not Toneri? Naruto was still a perfect Jin and he still got caught by Toneri.

We have never even seen Sasuke place a genjutsu to judge whather he's resistant or not. This is just mere assumption.

Sarada is still inexperienced. Of course she'd get handled by that level of jutsu. She has kurenai's jutsu which was able to cast on Itachi in the first place.

Even if he reversed it it was executed. I expect today to go no different than it did.

You can't downplay superior characters for the stars. Though there is inconsistency with the last arc in their skills these last two episodes. Blatant at that lol
