has a lot of experience, fought in two wars against very powerful opponents

hero at kannabi bridge in 3rd shinobi war

has a large arsenal of jutsu's (1000) - offensive, defensive etc.

has defeated hundreds of opponents

he's an all rounder

He used to be versatile, and I'm not talking about overall, I'm talking about strictly Ninjutsu.

So far his to go to technique is Raikri, and without it his skill set mainly consists of Doton techniques, and dog summonings.

Other than that he is pretty fair in Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Kenjutsu. Still, stronger KKG like Lava Release would put him in a bad spot because of the components he lacks
