As u can see here in the preview they're trapped in ice. How can they escape? yup they need fire. i can see Sarada using katon to escape from this.

I hope this will be the case. it's about time

At this point,

the characters are just "icons" with no reason or special purposes. They just "show up" in scenes and do stuff for no reason.

We need a bigger plot scheme. Some direction.

Yeah boruto manga. boruto anime is just there for more content
You know what I was talking about.

The anime, is what lacks a BIGGER plot scheme. That's obvious.

Manga is actually getting somewhere now.And yes, the anime IS suppose to give more content...that's IF it's based off of the manga.

Avatar (The Last Air Bender) had more subplots inbetween a bigger plot scheme, and yet, it is regarded has one of the best animated series for the reason why subplots is essential below.

The current Boruto subplots is essential because it gives the bigger plot scheme (chunin exam arc) meaning.

They're not showing up in scenes for no reason. They're on mission. You don't think there wasn't always an elapse period between the point they graduated from the academy, and the chunin exams initiation that needed to be covered..?
