I honestly can't believe you said this, especially at bold.

I'm not sure you understand Naruto's character, nor what the Hokage position symbolized, nor the entire journey of that dream.

I understand all that perfectly, but still, the root of it all was his desire to be acknowledged, and that is not a bad thing considering his past. He had a right to have a "selfish" reason, that term is sometimes justified and this is one of those cases considering how badly he was treated by everyone in the village, he wanted them to see him as something other than a monster, as someone important.

So yea, I did not mean it in a bad way, that's just the way it is, his resolve and motive got stronger as he grew up and realized how much he wanted to connect everyone and achieve peace as Defense mentioned, but we are talking about the initial reason, his motive. Sarada from the get go has a very mature reason, the desire to help and provide. She does not want anything for herself, purely selfless.

Anyway before you ask me Endles, or anyone else.

Naruto's dream of becoming the Hokage wasn't just for attention. Which shouldn't even be questioned in the damn first place when the entire village treated him like this:

Naruto's dream of becoming the Hokage was to earn the village's respect and acknowledgement. As the series continued it turned into something more than that as Naruto progressed as a character and went through hardships, met shinobi, and drastically changed his views.

That's why you see it went from 'acknowledgement and respect', but added on to "I'll change the Hyuuga", and after receiving this from his Shishou/Father, "I'll find a way towards peace".

The meaning itself changes overtime but the original idea was never really gone. I mean honestly if I have to explain the story it is as if someone doesn't understand Naruto as a whole, nor the Manga. If not, then I would have to sit down for a few hours to write an essay on that shit. That's how long it would be.

The reasoning for Sarada wanting to become the Hokage are no less than different from Konohamaru (albeit different but the core of the meaning is not that really far off), but I don't see how she could even be compared to Naruto's.

Oh I caught ya. I didn't read it but I hope this explains it.

His vision was about equality and creating of bonds from day 1. He wanted to be more than the 9 tails. His first encounter was Zabuza and Haku. He basically demonstrated then the same ideals and motives for aspiring to become Hokage and he did in his last battle in Gaiden. Extending the hand of acceptance.

There was nothing and is nothing remotely selfish about that. Heck I'm not even his biggest fan, and yet I can see that.

Sarada is nice and all but I think Konohamaru deserves it just the same.

The reasoning behind both of them wanting to become the Hokage is rather weak and pathetic compared to Naruto who wanted to become the Hokage so that village would notice him, so that he could be someone important.

Therefore it should logically go to the one who worked harder.Though that depends if Naruto stops, which I don't see happening when he is still in his thirties, hell I don't even see him stopping in his fifties, so Sarada may be the Hokage after Naruto.

Either-way it doesn't matter. Series is gonna die soon and the movie will be the last thing after the anime.

There is still headcanons we can make

Yea that makes sense.

I would be impressed if we even get to see the next Hokage, the odds are against that so far.

It's funny how delusional Kishi will think this post is, but hey its your opinion.

Masashi is the one who gave her the goal to become Hokage...

Did you forget the last time there was a female Hokage?

Yeah the Uchiha massacre, Kyuubi attack, and Sand + Sound Invasion were awful.

Sarada is nice and all but I think Konohamaru deserves it just the same.

How is wanting to lead and protect Konoha as it's Leader weak? Naruto didn't even want to do that at first, atleast that we know of, he just wanted to be acknowledged.

At that same age, Sarada is already thinking of the well-fare of everyone. She has taken note of Adult Naruto's Hirunzen like wisdom of seeing everyone in the village as family, and wanting to help them all.

Everything Lol, only in her rule was the village destroyed, she was the weakest hokage and she couldnt do her role in the war against Madara like she said she would.

OT: It's clearly Konohamaru but you sasky/suckura fans gon say salad 4sure

How is it clearly Konohamaru when we have barely ever even seen him? Much less actually learn the importance and value of being Hokage, like Sarada has from Naruto.

All you reasoning is, "She's a female so clearly Konohamaru". Sexist.

Actually Sarada's reason for becoming Hokage is a lot better than Naruto's.

Naruto wanted people to notice him, that's pretty selfish, it is not bad because he ended up being a good Hokage and he is strong as hell but his reason was still just that, Sarada on the other hand wants to be Hokage so she can help others, she wants to provide everyone with bonds and love and be like family to them just like Naruto was to her during their short journey.

Well said. He's too much of a Naruto Fanboy.

No, he wanted to become a saviour of the village that ridiculed him. If he were an uchiha, he would want to burn it to the ground. Naruto wanted to create bonds with everyone.

The respect and attention aspect of it goes much deeper than simply how everyone will perceive him. The Naruto that TnJ neji and Gaara was the one who aspired to become Hokage. The one that took the oath in pain to never run away. Naruto's way of ninja that is about creating bonds and fighting for friendship is the best example of ideal hokage motive. It's what has lead to him being the 7th and saviour of the NV.

The reason Sarada wants to become Kage is due to Naruto's qualities which she admires so much. She's inherited from him

Naruto's decision to become Kage is the most touching and selfless.
As I said, anyone else in his shoes esp the uchiha would have wanted revenge.

At first, Naruto just wanted to be acknowledged by every, that is the only thing he said, meanwhile at the same age, Sarada is thinking/saying what Waltz pointed out.

Stop using stereotypes dude, a few Uchiha were bad...you're making it out as if all of them were...If they wanted to burn the village to the ground then why would they ever have been in the Konoha Military force risking their lives trying to maintain peace and protect Konoha?

They only planned the Coup because they were being treated unfairly. Most people tend to stand up for themselves when being treated unfairly, and the whole world was in the cycle of revenge, and hatred, hence Nagato's beliefs aquired from his life long expereince with the Shinobi world.

Sarada will only dream with that 1 T.
She will watch and praise Boruto as he takes the Hokage seat like his father and grandfather.
Konohamaru will be the 8 th.

That's a ridiculous post, you say that as if she will never get stronger. She already has outstanding chakra control, incredible strength, and 1 tomoe Sharingan as an academy student who is not even a developed Shinobi who has experience.

Boruto has shown absolutely no interest in becoming Hokage, he despises the idea, yet you claim he'll be Hokage rather than Sarada who's actually learned the value of it from Naruto.

It's kind of contradictory to say that someone who wants to become the Hokage, doesn't want to lead the village.

And? It's quite understandable given what Naruto promoted with their interactions, but saying Naruto didn't care about the well-fare of the Village or anyone else is a bit strange. He preached of wanting to gain respect from the villagers and acknowledgement, because when it came down to it, Naruto was far unlikely to lead the village nor become a shinobi at all (Think back to how people treated him when they realized he wasn't becoming a shinobi when he failed the test, they were honestly relived).

Naruto's own character and self worth towards others showed what he represented when he said he wanted to be Hokage, equality and freedom. Some should of realized this during the Wave Arc though.
