No she wasn't, it clearly says kishi gave her glasses to make her look cool. No mention of bad eyesight anywhere and neither was Sarada shown suffering from eyesight related issues in the canon material. The reason she was asking if Sasuke wears glasses is to establish a reason for her glasses. It was stupid to begin with since Sasuke isn't wearing glasses in the photograph. Then seeing Karin wear the same glasses set her off on her journey. Personally Kishi used a shit reason for her journey he could've written is better.

Genjutsu with 1T is not possible, that only happened in anime filler, if you think Sarada is more talented than Lord Sasuke that she can do what he couldn't do with 2T than you are stupid.
