I agree Lady Hinata blood is the best Hopefully Boruto gonna make the Hyuga proud of him.
If you haven't noticed it's not my fault, it's the whole point of the movie. Boruto is trying to be noticed by his father no matter what.. in fact when he used the cheating tool against the fodder, that's because his father was looking at him and it's clearly shown cause boruto noticed his father looking at him and right after he used the cheating tool

I don't want to get into a Hinata blood debate since we know it's level which isn't much. In Boruto and Hima's case it's likely a gene that skipped a generation so direct Hiashi blood for further info on inheritance a book on genetic make up and epigenetics.
Boruto was forced to use the tool against fodder ninja because he didn't have the skills to defeat his abilities so that's a mute point. Naruto was looking at Boruto the whole fight so it doesn't excuse his need to cheat. He just didn't want to lose with his prodigious talent and look bad in front of everyone.

In case of chakra and prodigious Hyuga talent or natural talent only Hanabi and Neji have demonstrated such so it's likely it comes from Hiashi or another ancestor or Uncle etc. This doesn't mean Hinata's not skilled than most.

He's definitely got some of the best potential of the new generation and genes inherited from his mother (meaning she passed on an ancestral quality). And it was her genes that passed it on(it doesn't mean she shared the ability though).

So you agree there wasn't back peddling and you made that up. Passing on chakra is established by manga proof I'm sure I don't need to go into detail on that. And like I said the rest was entertaining possibilities. Possibilities are speculative by nature so wouldn't have manga proofs otherwise they'd be facts.
