Naruto had figured that out by himself already. Its a very simple point, after all.[/IMG]

Scan of him figuring it out/having that mentality before Itachi told him that? There is none, accompanied by the fact that he was taken aback by Itachi's words. Stop with the fics.

Sarada has the will of fire like Itachi and is heavily influenced by Ashura.

this could be another parallel she shares

"You're forgetting something...", "You know...", "Remember...", "You know...", "If you forget..."

Five times. FIVE TIMES he mentions the idea of forgetting something and remembering it. And it makes sense. Naruto has grown stronger, he doesn't have to rely on others to take on stronger threats as much as before, not that it means he has to give up their aid altogether. But at this point its not even Itachi, Kishimoto is driving the point home that Naruto already knows this. The whole speech puts a massive focus on that fact alone

And the nail in the coffin...

I'm sure it was supposed to parallel Itachi's words. The Anime has been using old statements for parallels and such already.

Like in today's episode, Boruto asks why he should care about becoming a shinobi, let alone why it's important.

More and more refrences

You're missing the point. Naruto wanted to become Hokage to be acknowledged by everyone. Itachi corrected him in saying that its the other way around. You have to be acknowledged by everyone to become Hokage.

Sarada only said that she wanted to become a Hokage and to be acknowledged by everyone, something so simple Part 1 Naruto could figure out by himself. And she's a long way off from that too. The fact that she was still taking advice from Boruto on whether to intervene into her classmates' fight is proof of such.

Correction. Sarada has acquired wisdom that took Naruto two seasons to learn and that was only thanks to Itachi.

Sasuke who wanted to be Hokage never figured it out, even though Naruto slapped him with it.

So I guess that says a lot. :lol

Silly man. Sasuke became the hokage he always wanted to be. Sasuke wanted to work within the shadows becoming acknowledged was not important to him.

Well, someone didn't really pay attention to the speech itself....

So Naruto did know?

...and someone did. Because yes. The whole point Itachi made was about remembering something, which Naruto did.

What a revelation. What a GENIUS!

I and maybe no one else on this planet would've thought about that.

Next your going to tell me that "Sharing is Caring" or that you got to bear the responsibility that comes with your power or maybe even to never forget your original roots?

Some mind blowing stuff right here folks.

In the same episode Boruto was the one giving her words of wisdom when her's ran out and when she was confused about how to convince that other student who was going to quit the academy not to quit.

That said neither of them are at Itachi's level. Not yet at least.

The fapfic is just too much in the OP.

No what naruto forgot is that he didn't have to do things alone but there is never any mention of him realizing Itachi words you can stop reaching now

I guess it makes sense if Naruto understood this, I mean its not really a difficult concept to understand.

The people pick the leader, that's how it works. Konohagakure isn't a dictatorship.

But people are still disagreeing with you aside the fact. If Naruto was indeed saying he forgot after Itachi explained the message, then I don't see how Naruto didn't know this.

Doesn't him forgetting imply that he lost the message because he was trying to tackle everything alone instead of relying on his friends/comrades?

Shit is confusing. Someone drop some VIZ

Only a Sasuke fan to claim that Naruto doesn't realise that people need to like you before they accept you as the military leader of their village. :sdo:

Again, bravo. But I don't think the point is that hard to see.

Naruto' became as strong as he is because so many people helped him to this point. As he is now strong enough, he believes he can handle himself without having to rely on people's help, but never will he alone be as strong as him and the people around him combined, so there is no reason for him to stop relying on them now, especially because only by allowing them to help him and gaining their trust will they be able to accept him as a Hokage.

That's my takeaway from it anyway.

Lmfao are you serious then why is there no p1 scans of your claim? You reaching fam. Naruto wanted to become hokage so he can be liked. Itachi words were a big part of narutos development. How naruto fans don't even know narutos character
