Yep, even though they'll probably continue it considering how popular it got. Besides the novel went much further than the Anime.

I puked at the end of this 25th episode. SAO lost it's sparkle the moment Aincrad ended. The only good thing that came afterwards was GGO. But even then, Aincrad should've been longer, it's only sequel (If any) should've been GGO. Although there's still hope, apparently the author is writing an unabridged version of Aincrad.
