I think after the War started and Oro came back he saw Sasuke in a different way, because Sasuke chose his own way to deal with the Village and it's people, so he chose to stand by his side just to see how he does things differently from him, like a "What could have been if me Oro chose to stay in the village and aim for the Hokage" or something like that
