Sannin vs Pain team

Hey... i had a discussion revently about the outcome of a fight between those two teams at their best...


It's a hard one I think but my guess is that the Sannin might win if orochimaru and tsunade take mose of the beating... if they can keep jiraya alive he can deal the damage needet to kill pain ..

tsunade can heal ( maybe not enough time )
orochimaru with snake and able to change bodys cool ~
then jiraya with sage mode dealing most of the damage !

Well, as we have seen in jairayas battle he could only take one pain body down, even with oro and tsunade in there the outcome would most definatly change, but pain would win. Facing the facts, pain just has more chakra and stronger abilities, the most that would change the battle would be the summonings, but thats about it. In conclusion the mainf actor here is chakra, and it seems to me that the pain bodies have much much more chakra than the Sannins. Their defeat would be inevitable from the start.

Nice thought on the skills, but take into account how much they can really do, stamina wise.

Think on ... Orochimaru still has his version of Edo tensei ... Maybe someone brought back could inflict damage .. kazekage for example


also they could split up and each fight 2 bodies .. that might give them a fighting chance the problem is that we don't know orochimarus and tsunades real strength


the full powered oro was introduced at a time when the whole narutoverse was weaker ... Imho every main character (kakashi naruto sasuke) could defeat the third hokage right now since ninja were just weaker in the normal naruto

in naruto every ninja was a lot weaker simply because the portrait of a powerfull ninja in naruto is weaker than the portrait of an average ninja in shippuuden which is why we don't really know about the full extend of the combat abilities of orochimaru and sandaime

Well, personally, I think that the Sannins would win against Pain ( 6 diff. types of Pain).. just because well, I think the battle would be 2 against 1 ( 2 pains against 1 sannin).. in this case it is more likely that the sannin would win in each battle because they can use different jutsu and they're very smart too compare to their opponent ( even though they are strong they only possess one jutsu)... But overall this is going to be an epic battle and a very diffucult one.. These are all hypothetical because we all know that we're not going to witness this battle because jiraiya died already...

Your not taking into consideration that there are 6 paths to pain and that there are 3 sannins, on top of that as i said earlier the pain paths have almost unlimited amounts of chakra whic ultimatly leaves the sannins useless. To the point of oro using his rencarnation jutsu, all the pains need is to kill oro because as long as theres no oro there are no bodies to control which in turn renders them useless aswell.

sannins would win definitely. Jiraya killed one of pains alone while he was fighting 6 pains... So jiraya against 2 of them would be piece of cake for him... And btw orochimaru is maybe even stronger than jiraya. Oro and Jiraya would be enough to defeat all six of them...

just for the record Jiraiya killed three of the pein bodies and they were ressurected and he one of them again. so yes offically he killed one technically he killed three

Sannin team would win, jiraiya beat 3 bodies on his own, oro can just summon guys to own pain like the 4th hokage, use his FTG tech to beat god realm and then win, while tsunade gives chakra....

Not any one person in this anime can take on all 3 sannin and win. Those only person that probably could is So6P but he doesn't really count because he was the creator of everything in the ninja world and had almost DBZ powers. But nobody including Minato, Nagato, nobody can take on all 3 sannin and win.

meh he didn't really "play" with jiraya seeing that jiraiya managed to kill a total of 4 bodies and nagato admitted that if jiraiya knew the secret from the start that jiraya would've won for sure.

and if for some crazy strange reason they needed more man-power, BAM orochimaru summons 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th hokage and that buys time for jiraiya to go sage mode.

so 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th hokages, Sage Jiraya, Orochimaru and tsunade healing any wounds.

Yeah, nagato would be destroyed.

Actually, if orochimaru summoned the 4 kage's with sage jiraiya and tsunade backing him up, I don't think even So6P or Juubi could beat that. In fact it's pretty obvious that they couldn't....

bottom line, all 3 sannin is a force only DBZ characters could beat.
