no he wasnt. in fact he let himself die in his parents embrace and sakura/chiyo happened to be his perfect counters. sasuke was deidara's counter

no he didnt. and chiyo is monstrously strong, for being able to keep up with him. onyl reason she stood a chance however is intel on iron sand and sasoris puppets. saklura had the antidote and punching power to destroy the third when sasori underestimated her. pain wouldnt make the same mistake. hed just shinra tensei sakura with a nail to make sure.
